Staci and Jody Jenson are the heart and hands behind One Majestic Place—a serene retreat nestled in the rolling hills of Mountain, North Dakota. What started as their dream home has grown into a peaceful sanctuary for travelers seeking rest, connection, and the quiet beauty of nature.
The Beginning of The Cabin
In 2010, the Jensons opened The Cabin—a handcrafted getaway designed and built by Jody, whose woodworking skills bring warmth and character to every detail. Featuring locally sourced materials, a stunning spiral staircase, and a river-rock shower, the cabin embodies rustic elegance and heartfelt craftsmanship. Overlooking lush meadows and woodlands, it quickly became a favorite for guests craving a true North Dakota escape.
Expanding into The Gathering Place
Inspired by the joy their guests found at The Cabin, Staci and Jody expanded their vision with The Gathering Place—a spacious venue designed for life’s most meaningful moments. From weddings and family reunions to retreats and celebrations, it’s a place where laughter echoes, stories unfold, and memories are made.
